We were in the 2026 Rhody Parade!

This year marked our very first time participating in Eureka’s Rhododendron Parade, and what an incredible experience it was! From the excitement of preparing our float to seeing the community gathered along the parade route, the entire day was filled with fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

We want to give a huge thank you to Humboldt Towing for generously donating a flatbed tow truck for our float, and to A.J. for volunteering to drive it during the parade. A.J. also kept the energy going by playing some great tunes on the speaker throughout the parade, which made the experience even more fun for everyone involved. We’re also so grateful to everyone who donated their time and creativity to help decorate the float and bring our vision to life. It truly was a team effort, and we couldn’t have done it without all of you.

One of the best parts of the day was seeing so many people come out to celebrate and support the parade. The energy, smiles, and sense of community made the experience even more special. Events like the Rhody Parade are such a wonderful reminder of what makes Eureka such a great place to be.

We already can’t wait for next year!

Here are a few fun photos from the decorating process and from parade day itself.
